The low rent myth

The low rent myth – Starting August 1, 2021, Kern County landlords will be permitted to raise rents up to 9% for existing residents according to the California Apartment Associations website. While a lot of landlords will be thrilled with this news, some landlords are going to struggle with this news as they don’t like raising rents. In this video I am going to explore the reasons why some landlords struggle to keep pace with the market rent levels and offer a new perspective on why it is important to keep your rents current.
